Today's Reflection
“Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?”
There are moments in life when the voices around you are not prayers but predictions of your failure. When people whisper your end instead of your future. When they wait for you to fall, not to rise. David knew this pain — surrounded by those who spoke evil, counting his days, hoping his name would fade into nothing.
But hear this clearly: the words of men do not cancel the plans of God.
While they were speaking death, God was sustaining life. While they were waiting for an ending, God was preparing a testimony. Their mouths spoke hatred, but heaven was writing destiny.
If people have spoken against you…
If they have doubted your survival, your progress, your growth…
If they have said, “When will he be finished?”
Know this: you are still standing because God is not done.
Your name will not perish.
Your purpose will not die.
Your journey will not end in shame.
What they meant for evil, God will turn into evidence of His power. Let them talk. Let them wait. Let them doubt. You will rise, and your rising will silence every evil word spoken over your life.
Hold on. Keep walking. Keep believing.
The same God who preserved David is preserving you.
You are still here — and that alone is proof that God has the final say.
