RESPONSIBILITIES
• Contribute to resident activities and events.
• Supervise care assistants and support their training, development and appraisal as requested.
• Liaise with the Person in Charge and Clinical Nurse Manager to welcome new residents and help them feel secure.
• Ensure healthcare assistants deliver high-quality care to assigned residents.
• Assist with washing, toileting, dressing, undressing, dining and other activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of the line manager.
• Support residents with social activities, conversation and communication.
• Assist nursing staff with the daily allocation of work.
